Virendra, a multitalented artist, proudly showcased his floral arrangement skills on a prestigious platform organized by the Sarthak Educational Trust in Goa through the National Abilympics Association of India (NAAI). Despite having a locomotor disability affecting one hand, Virendra has never let this setback hinder his pursuit of new skills and personal motivation.
Primarily a painter, Virendra has won numerous awards, including several international accolades. The NAAI Goa event marked the first time he presented his floral arrangement talent, participating alongside his wife, Bharti. Bharti, who also has a locomotor disability, won a gold medal, while Virendra secured a silver medal at the NAAI Goa Event 2024.
Originally from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Virendra and Bharti both work as Admin Executives at a private hospital. They learned about the NAAI competition through Jeewan Society NGO, an IDEA partner with Sarthak Educational Trust. Virendra feels blessed to have connected with NAAI and Sarthak, as it gave him the opportunity to transform their hobby into an achievement.
Now, Virendra and Bharti are preparing for national and international competitions, continually honing their skills with the aim of winning more medals in floral arrangement.
